Hayden Country Kitchen & Bathroom Remodeling

Project type

Interior Remodeling

Location

Hayden, ID

Our clients wanted to remodel their kitchen and had recently updated their appliances, with the exception of the range, since they were changing from electric to gas. For their kitchen remodel, they chose antique white, shaker-style Huntwood cabinets with soft close doors and drawers, matte black hardware, butcher block countertops, a white farmhouse sink, a white subway tile backsplash, and a slightly larger layout.

Protective material was placed across the flooring so it could be kept, then their appliances were removed, and the room was demoed. A wall was moved to allow for an added pantry cabinet, and then the cabinetry was installed and topped with crown molding. Next, the farmhouse sink was installed, followed by the butcher block countertops, which were treated with oil and wax. A clean and simple white subway tile backsplash with white grout was laid, their matte black cabinetry hardware was installed, and all of the outlets and switches were updated. We then repaired the floor and ceiling where the wall had been moved, ran a gas line for the range from the utility room beneath the kitchen, and lastly, installed the new gas range and reinstalled their appliances.

This kitchen took about six days.

Bathrooms
This home needed two bathrooms to be updated. For the main floor bath, we removed the dated tub and tile surround, vanity, and tile floor. This main floor bath received new Luxury Vinyl tile, a custom vanity top with an under mount sink, a new tub and matching surround with a large niche and curved curtain rod, new lights, a new mirror, and fixtures. New dual flush elongated toilet installed. The walls and ceiling were finished with an orange peel texture to match the rest of the home and were painted. This project took five days to complete.

The basement bath received all new fixtures and flooring, a dual flush elongated toilet, a furniture style vanity with cultured top, mirror, and light, and the tub and surround were replaced with a walk-in shower with a matching surround and curved curtain rod. The new waterproof floor is LVP in a herringbone pattern. The walls were finished with an orange peel texture to match the rest of the home, and the walls and ceiling were painted.

This renovation took four days to complete.
